Christmas brings us to the Holy Family - Mary, Joseph and the Infant Jesus. And the family, just as is Christmas, is part of the culture of all people of this world. In the family, we have the best platform to share human love.
In the family, we can develop the potential of love, in giving and
in receiving. History has proved that, whenever and wherever family
values are denied or neglected, then all other social values will
soon collapse. We pray to the Holy Family, Jesus, Mary and Joseph to protect
the families of our beloved city, so that we may always remain united
in love, and help each other in times of difficulties. On behalf of the Catholic Church of Hong Kong, I wish you and
your family, a blessed Christmas, and a happy New Year.
